INSTRUCTIONS: Use chalk to draw a playing field on the ground in the shape of a square or rectangle, and divide it into four equal parts.

1. Each player chooses their playing field and starts with 5 points. At the start of each round, one of the players throws the ball by hand so that it bounces in his_her own field first, and then in one of the opponents' fields.
2. Players have to let the ball bounce in their own field once, and then kick it into an opponent's field. When a player makes a mistake, he_she loses a point and the round ends. The player who made the mistake starts the new round.
3. The goal is to stay in the game as long as possible and force your opponents to make mistakes that cost them losing points. Once a player makes 5 mistakes he_she is out of the game.

Players lose points if they:
a) miss the kick
b) kick the ball out of the field or
c) kick it towards the opponent too aggressively (or intentionally directly at the opponent's body)

MATERIALS: Football ball, chalk

COMMENTS, TIPS & TRICKS: You can decide on the size of field, but we recommend keeping it small enough to avoid power kicks (since they don't make sense in smaller fileds). In our experience the field is suitable if it is around half the size of a Volleyball court.
If you didn’t divide the field into four equal squares (it also works well in a diagonally divided rectangle), make sure players change their playing field after every round.
You can also change the rules to be more positive, e. g. gaining points when something is done right, instead of losing points when you do something wrong.
